Always a winner, REI in Troy has all the things you come to expect from our favorite store. The staff is always friendly, and during Christmas they have a wrapping station for charity. Also thought it was cool that the bathrooms have sanitary items for free!

Very nice and well kept store. Staff is always very polite and helpful. Decent selection of clothing and equipment but some of the other locations seem to be a little bigger.

I live REI. While their prices are high, they offer great products. Nothing is cheaply made and everything lasts. From Marmot to Thule to REI CoOp, it's all made to last and most of it is made Responsibly with recycled materials. Customer service is top notch and the staff truly cares about your safety and joy while exploring the great outdoors.

I’ll never shop at any other outdoor store after my experience here. Staff is friendly and PRESENT you can actually find team members to talk to. They have everything you can think of for your adventures even some items you wouldn’t think you needed. Great sales and a cool program you can enroll in for the deals.

I haven’t been to the Troy store lately but wanted to express my appreciation for an online order that was delivered to my old address. REI stepped up tremendously and re-ordered my items and shippped them immediately to my new address. Unbelievable customer service and outstanding positive company composure and communication. I’ve been with them 19 years and will continue to tell people to shop here. Absolutely amazing service!

I always love REI they have an amazing selection of high quality outdoor goods. My daughter was looking for hiking boots. The staff was amazingly helpful. Super knowledgeable about the boots. They have a 1 year satisfaction guarantee. Really great experience.

If you are a person who loves the outdoors and quality products, this is the store for you. Brands that last and hold up through tough wear. Very pricey, but you get what you pay for. I came in today in search of hiking pants, found the perfect size but spent $100. This is where I get all my backpacking/hiking gear, and soon to be climbing gear! 10/10 would recommend to a friend! Only 4 stars because of the price!

Christian, Jared, and Jessica were each lovely to work with during my visit. I had some tricky returns but Jared was able to super helpful and kind. I needed to find some new hiking pants and Jessica answered all my questions which helped me find the right fit I was looking for. At checkout, Christian and I had a really great conversation about the National Parks we’ve visited. The store is welcoming and clean and the staff there are always willing to help. 10/10 recommend stopping in!
